Data processing agreement for schools

• That it has the authorization of parents or guardians for its students to use BonsAI for educational purposes and for the data processing described in the Privacy Policy.
• That it will inform families that it uses BonsAI and what for.
• That it will only enroll its own students in its classes. When a teacher approves a join request, they confirm the student belongs to the school.

On top of this certification, each guardian approves their child's account by email before they can practice. Until they do, the student can join the class but not practice. The teacher sees who's waiting and can send the guardian a reminder, without seeing their email.

Students' data is used only to teach them, adapt their sessions and show their progress, as the Privacy Policy describes. BonsAI doesn't sell it, doesn't show ads and doesn't use it for purposes unrelated to the student's education.

• The teacher sees the progress of the students in their classes. Each student's detailed evidence only if the student chooses to share it.
• The school's administration sees aggregated figures, without student names.
• No one at the school sees the guardian's email or the student's private messages with the assistant.

• Use the data only to provide the service, with the providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
• Protect it with reasonable security measures and notify the school without delay of an incident affecting its students.
• Handle access, correction and deletion requests from students and guardians.

• Keep its teachers' and administrators' credentials safe.
• Use the encouragement channel to students respectfully and only for educational purposes.
• Remove from the class anyone who is no longer its student.
• Work with BonsAI to handle families' requests.

The agreement applies while the school uses BonsAI. When it ends, the school stops seeing students' data. Each student's account is individual: they keep it if their guardian approved it, or can ask for its deletion at any time.

If this agreement changes, we publish a new version and ask the school to accept it again; meanwhile no new students can be approved.
